Workshop Etsen

Today we have three workshops, the first workshop we just had was 'etching'. A very old discipline of printing. You draw(scratch) the surface of for example a sheet of plastic. After that you have to cover the surface with ink in such a way it sticks into the scratched areas.

When done you have to remove most of the ink so you can use it for printing by laying it on a big pressure table with a moist sheet of paper on the printing plate.
